On Thursday, the Baja California Assembly unanimously approved the request for temporary leave submitted by Assemblymember Danny Fidel Mogoll贸n P茅rez. From October 14 to 23 the lawmaker will not receive emoluments, allowances, salaries, or any support.

The request was first approved by the Political Coordination Board, chaired by Assemblyman Juan Manuel Molina Garc铆a, who said that on October 14 Mogoll贸n P茅rez submitted a letter addressed to Assembly Speaker Dunnia Montserrat Murillo L贸pez, requesting a temporary and indefinite leave to step down from his position to address personal matters.

On October 17, Mogoll贸n P茅rez submitted another document by which the request for temporary leave for an indefinite period was modified, to set his leave of absence from October 14 to 23. The lawmaker plans to return on October 24.

On Thursday, Speaker Murillo L贸pez swore in Mogoll贸n P茅rez's alternate Karla Pedr铆n Rembao.
